During summer 79 d.C. Pompei has been victim of an intense eruption by Vesuvio. The city was submerged by a rain of ash and lapillus that arranged a layer of more than 3 meters. Archaeological excavations reported the city at the same moment of the eruption so now it is possible walking around streets, into houses and temples through a lot of itineraries breathing the atmosphere that there was in Rome 2000 years ago. The Vesuvio National Park has been created and crossing a thick net of paths is possible to live the beauty of the Somma-Vesuvio complex.
