Casale San Bartolomeo is a 17thcentury stone farmhouse surrounded by a beautiful garden with a charming swimming pool overlooking a wide valley and a forest on the back. Built on a hill and totally isolated, yet near the main places of cultural interest, Casale San Bartolomeo is located just in the middle of Umbria, halfway between Todi and Perugia. The house is laid out on two floors: the ground floor, with an ancient log fireplace, hosts the breakfast room where Anna and Gabriele will serve you milk, coffee, a variety of herbal-teas, biscuits, coflakes, jam, yogurt, orange juice and fruit.
Our cozy sitting room also has a fireplace for the cooler months, a library, sofas, Sat TV, DVD player and many films.
The five bedrooms, each with private en-suite bathroom with shower, are on the first floor. All rooms have original beamed ceilings and old terracotta floors. Room with a view, Mansfield Park and Wuthering Heights are doubles rooms; Jane Eyre and Barry Lyndon are triple rooms.
The Farmhouse is built in stone so remains cool in the summer months.
