The Antica Posta di Braccio is the perfect base from where to reach all the major Italian centres of art, places of historical interest and museums in the smaller towns.
No lack of concerts (any kind of music), traditional “festas”, markets and events to suit all tastes.
In a well-known wine area, home to some great wines.
The Baglioni Palace is situated, as it is, along the Lake Trasimeno road, the Braccio Baglioni palace acted as a stopover post for travellers as early as the 15th century.
Today, its welcoming halls with their amazing vaulted ceilings are used to host events and parties or as the restaurant for lunch and dinner. In summer, the restaurant extends into a spacious garden with an old wood-burning oven.
The palace is in the shape of an 'L ', and this connects to a conservatory with three glass-fronted arches defining its length and another arch closing off the short side facing the entrance gate, thus creating a kind of internal courtyard with a well.
This courtyard frames the impressive three floors and accentuates the monumental character of the well-preserved entrances by the main gates.
The Antica Posta di Braccio consists of four houses: Alzata, Bellavista, Canova and Dimora - nestled in the lush garden, they surround the old Palazzo Braccio. A exterior entranc provide access to the first floor of Palazzo Braccio: a picturesque arched bridge leads to the two-room apartment Estro1.
The 22 vacation apartments (one, two and three-room apartments) provide a total of 70 sleeping arrangements. All apartments are furnished in the typical Umbrian style, with attention to both decorative and qualitative detail.
