…time seems to have stood still for the farm holiday center COLBADIA, enveloped in the silence of the green Umbrian hills.
The farm is located on a hill overlooking the city of Orvieto, almost close enough to touch. The surrounding vineyards produce the famous Orvieto Classico wine, and sheep and donkeys roam freely through the olive groves and woods.
The fulcrum of the farm is the completely restored nineteenth-century farmhouse where the owners live and which also contains the apartments for guests and areas for relaxation.
Our apartments are beautifully furnished and have ceilings with wooden beams and terracotta tile floors. They all have a room with a double bed and a bathroom, a living area with a studio couch that sleeps two and a well-equipped kitchen corner. Each apartment has its own heating system, air conditioning and TV.
Orvieto, only about five minutes away, has a variety of sights to visit including the Cathedral, Saint Patrick 's well, the Etruscan Necropolis, Orvieto Underground, Pozzo della Cava. The City of Rome, Florence,Viterbo adn Perugia can all be reached by car in a little over an hour or less.
