The main farmhouse enjoys the charming panoramic view of the two medieval villages dominating the valley, Montegabbione and Monteleone di Orvieto: here the green, the peace and silence create a romantic atmosphere and full relaxation. A fantastic swimming pool (6 mt per 14 mt, 1,50 deep) is one of our best jewel for our guests! On the ground floor of the main farmhouse we have the restaurant in the old lounge. Next to it there is a comfortable sittingroom with a panoramic view of Montegabbione, which everybody mistakes for a picture! Upstairs and in the next outbuilding there are five charming suites different from one another both in their furnishing and in the wall colours.. NextPrev The Estate In the heart of the most genuine Umbria, far from mass tourism and urban stress, there is a spot where it is still nature to regulate the rhythm of our life. We are at AGRITURISMO GATTOGIALLO of Montegabbione, a small farm in the heart of northe Orvietano. On a thirteen-hectare estate we grow barley and alfalfa and pick the fruits of 140 olive trees and of long rows of forest fruits for our jams. What is predominant in our farm is a one-hectare vineyard of Pinot noir, a grape variety which is definitely uncommon for this area but, considering the sandy ground and the temperature range, it gives us quite an extraordinary wine, highly appreciated in the surroundings; moreover, the 140 olive trees produce a delicious oil, robust in its flavour and particularly fragrant. The breeding ol poultry (geese, ducks, chickens and hens) and of the famous suckling pigs complete the excellent picture of our farm as to the quality of our produce.
