Ponte di Riocchio is a stunning Agriturismo in the hills of Gubbio in an old stone farmhouse.
Nestled in the lush landscape and silence of the Franciscan path, it is perfect for those who wish to be reconnected with nature and with themselves, to relax cuddled by the sweet sound of the Riocchio river, which runs alongside the entire farmhouse, and by our genuine and welcoming hospitality, the true jewel in the crown of holidays with us.
The sweet and savoury breakfasts are the treat you need to start your day in the best possible way. Every day, on the buffet, our guests will find a mouth-watering selection of homemade cakes, biscuits and jams, together with cold meats, cheeses, yoghurt, butter and farmhouse honey.
The outdoor swimming pool, with panoramic views over the picturesque Umbrian countryside, is for the exclusive use of our Guests.

My name is Elisabetta, and I warmly welcome you to my Agriturismo. I decided to continue the family business because I am in love with unspoilt and wild nature, where time seems to pass at a slow pace, where the people who live in our countryside tell stories with an ancient and poetic flavour. Living in close contact with the cycle of the earth and letting your gaze wander freely amidst the trees, hills and beauty of Gubbio is a true privilege, as well as a source of natural wellbeing. Umbria is a land full of wonderful places to visit, flavours to discover, stories to live. At my guests' breakfast I love to suggest the best itineraries for them to experience a holiday to remember.
The farmhouse has double, triple and family rooms, all with private bathroom, independent heating, air conditioning, LCD screen TV and a small fridge.
Each accommodation overlooks the garden and the surrounding countryside, which generously gives us warm and different colours in every season of the year.
Outside the rooms there is a lovely patio furnished with garden chairs, for a romantic aperitif, admiring the picturesque view or enjoying the coolness during summer evenings.
The breakfast room at Agriturismo Ponte Di Riocchio is located in the veranda from which you can admire Gubbio in its splendour while also enjoying the spectacle of the beautiful surrounding countryside. On the table dedicated to sweet and savoury dishes you will find farmhouse cheeses; we suggest you combine them with the delicate taste of honey or homemade jams. You will also be able to enjoy homemade cakes, biscuits and tarts made by us. A gluten-free breakfast is also available on request because we want to cater for our guests' every need. Everything will be accompanied by a hot cup of artisanal coffee from Gubbio or a creamy cappuccino, or you can choose from a variety of teas and infusions. The eggs, flour and other raw materials used to prepare the breakfast come from our farm or from small local certified organic producers.
Gubbio is undoubtedly the most picturesque medieval town in Umbria. It is rich in palaces, a suspended square, many panoramic views and many experiences to be enjoyed all year round. It has become famous not only for being the setting for the famous fiction Don Matteo, starring Terence Hill, but also for being the stage for national initiatives and events.
Just a few kilometres away from Agriturismo Ponte di Riocchio you can reach the most beautiful towns in Umbria: Assisi, the birthplace of St. Francis, Perugia, with its enchanting National Gallery of Umbria, Spello, known for its evocative "infiorata" or Spoleto, the scene of the Festival of the Two Worlds.
Lake Trasimeno can be reached in less than an hour and, from there, you can take a boat to visit the Polvese island.
Umbria is truly the region of Italy that knows how to surprise!
