Paganello is mentioned in the book, "Le Ville di Firenze " ( "Florence Villas ") by Ovidio Guaita, Edited by Newton & Compton: "Despite the simple façade, one can recognize the historical importance of the villa from its architecture, as the portal is framed by ashlar stones and two windows. Passing through the entrance, there is a small vaulted lobby leading to the internal courtyard. The private courtyard is closed on three sides, while the fourth side facing the valley ensures a stunning view over the hills. Inside the villa stone jambs enrich the doors and some of the rooms are also vaulted. Facing the villa, there is an antique private chapel. Inside, the vaulted ceiling is decorated in simple grotesque style with a painting of the Virgin Mary in the centre ".
Fattoria Il Paganello is today a traditional farmhouse in Chianti, where the owner takes care of the production of wine and olive oil from its own vineyards and olive grove, extending over an area of 68 acres. Guests relaxing in Paganello can buy the genuine typical products from Tuscany, made by the farm: extravirgin olive oil, honey, wine and VinSanto, that they can taste directly in the exclusive internal courtyard, that is at their disposal. The four cosy Farm Apartments are equipped with individual heating, two with open fireplace. The Holiday Accommodations that are independent to the rest of the villa offer privacy and relax.
