Our olive oil is extracted by a cold process and is chemical free. The term 'Indicazione Geografica Protetta' certifies that our oil, the method of extraction, the quality and the provenience. The varietis typical of the Tuscan region, such as Frantoio, Leccino, Moraiolo, Pendolino e Maurino, are harvested by hand in the right moment of the season.
Close to the beach as well as the mountains, Poggetto Masino stands nearby the medieval village of Suvereto and is located close to great naturalistic and archeological sites, such as the enchanting Gulf of Baratti and the ancientEtruscan City of Populonia.
The enchanting natural environment of the Val di Cornia includes the Natural Reserves of Montioni, Rimigliano eSterpaia, the last two being marine reserves facing the famed island Isola d'Elba. In the Archeological Park ofBaratti and Populonia, you may visit the ruins of the omonimous Etruscan Town.
Not very far away are the famous cities of art and culture like Pisa, Siena and Volterra. The Suvereto are is also renowned for great wines, high-quality olive-oils and the unique local cuisine.
