Description La Gavina

Located about 9 km (5.5 Miles)north of Siena, La Gavina is a small, family-run organic farmhouse and countryside Inn. For over 20 years has been welcoming guests and friends with warmth and simplicity in this piece of pure nature in the green Tuscan hills, among oak woods, olive groves and meadows. The original medieval building, was renovated with the intention of maintaining the original architecture and character and the interior is decorated with typical original rustic furniture and still maintains the flavour of the old country houses.
In the dining room, originally a hay barn, you can enjoy deliciously cooked meals prepared by expert hands according to the traditional Tuscan home-cooking methods mainly with organic ingredients coming from our farm or local selected producers.
It will also be possible, for a group of friends or a family, to reserve the whole structure of the farm to live their holiday independently.
The kitchen, living room, garden and swimming pool will be only for you and, if you want to treat yourself to a special evening, we would be happyto discover with you La Gavina cuisine!
