The Farmhouse Podere L’Aione is located a short distance from the village of Scansano, in a panoramic position over Maremma and the Tuscan Archipelago. The 4 self-standing apartments are surrounded by vegetation among stone walls, flowerbeds and century-old trees, and they open onto the hills surrounding the Farmhouse.

The Farmhouse Podere L’Aione offers its guests 4 self-standing apartments, made from the restoration of the original farming complex that used to surround the manor house.The furnishings and finishing touches have been chosen with care, respecting local traditions but at the same time providing guests with comfortable and well-equipped accommodation.Casaverde is the larger house, while Casarancia is an extremely characteristic small room with bathroom. Casagialla and Casablu can be connected if necessary.

Guests of the Farmhouse can enjoy the swimming pool and Jacuzzi located in the green area equipped with sun-beds.

At the Restaurant inside the Farmhouse guests can taste the dishes of the typical cuisine of Maremma, as well as some variations to Italian classic dishes. The menu changes according to the season and to the ingredients available throughout the year. Dishes are made using products made directly at the Farmhouse or bought locally from selected farmers and breeders. All is accompanied by the wine produced at the Farmhouse, Morellino di Scansano and Vermentino, which can be enjoyed also in the Famrhouse tasting room.Breakfast is based on simple and carefully selected products, ranging from typical homemade desserts to fruit jam to honey produced at the Farmhouse. In summer guests can eat in the open air, in the garden of the restaurant.

The farm is located in the heart of Tuscany in a strategic position from where you can be reached in half an hour 's drive from both the sea and the springs of Saturnia and the city of Grosseto.
SEA: Alberese Maremma Natural Park, Talamone, Ansedonia or Castiglione.
THERMAL SATURNIA: With both public and private facilities for bathing in sulfur.
MEDIEVAL VILLAGES: Pitigliano, Magliano in Toscana and Capalbio.
PROVINCE OF GROSSETO: Food and wine, 9 DOC wines including Morellino, festivals of traditional products such as tortelli, cheeses and game.
ETRUSCANS: Main archaeological sites Vetulonia and Baratti -Populonia, larger settlements in Roselle (GR).
