Description Pian Delle More

Pian delle More is a hamlet in the woods of Sassetta (Livorno, Tuscany) composed of 3 small houses with 8 charming apartments ideal for holidays as a couple or with a family.
Inspired by the architecture of the typical Tuscan countryside we chose to use materials conforming to bio-architecture to obtain a harmonious and healthy environment. The apartments are built out of special petrified wood blocks that make for excellent heat and sound insulation and do away with the need for air-conditioning; lime coloured with natural pigments has been used to plaster and distemper the walls; the hand-crafted terracotta floors have been treated with citrus milk and oil; and all the windows and doors are made of wood.
For cleaning purposes only organic detergents and soaps (unira) are used and appliances that save on water. We paid special attention to the fittings and furniture and were inspired by our traditions, outside there are separate seating areas with chairs, dining tables and loungers, plus aromatic local plants.
The same plants can be found throughout the garden and around the pools, different species at different times of the year. The apartments all have Sky Vision Gold TV and wireless Internet connection at no extra charge.
