IL CARGEDO, dipped in the quite of countryside, nestled among olive groves and forests of oak and chestnut trees, is an ideal place to spend a holiday all year.
You could relax by the pool, walk or ride a mountain bike paths and secluted roads, visit the nearby historic villages and discover the charm of the "Via Francigena ", an ancient pilgrimage route.
Beach lovers will be able to reach in about 45 minutes the gulfs of the Cinque Terre and Versilia. The farm 's agricultural activity is based on the organic cultivation of olives and fruit.
The main products are extravergin olive oil, strictly obtained from cold extraction, seasonal fruits (figs, apples, pears, plums, cherries, strawberries) and vegetables from the garden.
The pure enviroment and the cultivation techniques used guarantee the quality and the naturalness of the products you can taste and purchase.
The chestnuts trees and oak forests that surround the farm are sources of other products like chestnuts, mushrooms and berries. Home cooking is one of our strong points.
We use fresh products from our farm or from small local producers.
In the delicious dishes we prepare, we combine tradition and mode to create a unique culinary experience.
Everything is homemade: cakes and baked goods for breakfast, bread, fresh and filled pasta, desserts.
Extra vergin olive oil, produced with our olives, is the main dressing used in the kitchen.
In the warm and inviting dining room, a maximum of 12 people can be served in a familiar and cosy enviroment. The swimming pool is located in our ample garden where our guests may relax peacefully on comfortable sunbeds and cool off under the trees during the warm summer days.
There is also a stone oven with barbeque where guests can spend pleasant evenings all together eating pizza, focacce, farinate or meat straight off the grill.
