Nestled in the lush greenery of the Tuscan Maremma, between the Strada del Vino della Costa Etrusca and the Strada del Vino di Monteregio di Massa Marittima, the Agriturismo San Domenico is located in Monterotondo Marittimo, just a short distance from the medieval villages of Massa Marittima and Suvereto.

Situated at the foot of the small town of Frassine, home to the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Frassine, the Agriturismo San Domenico lies within the San Regolo Wildlife Reserve, about 30 minutes from the stunning beaches of the Gulf of Follonica and 35 minutes from the Gulf of Baratti and the Acropolis of Populonia.

A typical Tuscan farmhouse, the agriturismo offers eight finely furnished apartments:

Five one-bedroom apartments,
One two-bedroom apartment,
Two larger apartments.

Each unit is equipped with heating, satellite TV, and a telephone (on request) and features either a terrace or a shaded patio. A large communal lounge with a fireplace, a swimming pool, a children's play area, mountain bikes, a soccer field, and a volleyball court complete the amenities.

No matter the season, you can enjoy a unique stay in the heart of Tuscany, surrounded by history, culture, food and wine itineraries, hiking and mountain biking trails—an ideal setting for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. Here, you can still experience an unspoiled landscape with a mild maritime climate, making it the perfect starting point for exploration, including the stunning Tuscan Archipelago.

Just a 30-minute drive takes you to the Venturina Thermal Center, while in about an hour, you can reach the famous Saturnia Hot Springs. Horseback riding enthusiasts will find nearby equestrian centers offering nature trails and beachside horseback excursions.

In the heart of Maremma, just 30 minutes from the Gulf of Follonica, 10 minutes from Suvereto 35 minutes from Piombino, port of embarkation for the island of Elba, Agriturismo San Domenico is well connected by highways and secondary roads.
About half an hour is the thermal park Venturina, more distant, at about 1.15 min is known Saturnia spa resort known for its sulfur springs.
