The county of Scorgiano, wich is located in the middle of Tuscany with easy connections to all the chianti, belong to the same family by many centuries. In the 520 ha that make up the organic farm we produce cereal, extra vergin olive oil, legumes and flours. Furthermore we implement the semi-wild pig farming of cinta senese and grey of siena, from which we get typical salami and hams. It is available for guests a 10 for 6 meters pool with two gazebos with chairs and deckchair. The accomodations are inside a farm house of the 1200, renovated in 2015, leaving unchanged the classic atmosphere, the appartaments are furnished and with equipped kitchens. It's also possible bring pets, and a common equipped laundry it's available for guests. In the village is located our direct selling point, "la botteghina di Scorgiano" where besides buying all our product, you could taste them inside delicious coldplates, accompanied by wine or craft beer. Here is the peace of a walk, or better loitering, in the Tuscan countryside, with songs of birds or under the stars.
Inside our farm are possible hiking or biking, rental at 4.5 km. It is possible to do bird watching, to fish with your own equipment or to walk for woods looking for wild animals. There is a horse-riding Company with external managment. The company is crossed by a branch of the francigena arriving in Siena. Within 15 km you will find Monteriggioni with the crown wall, Siena with the world famous piazza del campo, San gimignano with medieval towers and views over most of Chianti, Casole d'Elsa a small medieval village very pretty and very active with markets and events. Less than one hour by car we find Florence with its museums and events and Volterra the city of the alabaster. Are also easily reachable Pisa with the leaning tower, Livorno with its aquarium and the historic center. In an hour and a half you can reach the sea of Cecina, the most fashionable Follonica or Piombino with embarkation for the island of Elba.
