The farm holidays "La Colmata " is situated in the hearth of Val di Chiana the fertile and wide plain famous for its agriculture and for the breeding of the vintage breed "chianina ".
The name of our structure exactly derives from the memory of the reclamation made by the Lorena in the early XIX century which gave back to this area its present prosperity after years of invasions, wars and pillages. So the farm holidays ' name contains the history, the tradition and the economy of this area.
The structure, situated really near the major centres, is constituted of an old renovated farm with the utilization of traditional materials keeping the natural original aspect but made comfortable thanks to the insertion of the most mode technologies. The farm holidays has got eight rooms, which are situated in the farm holiday centre. The rooms are characterized by their fine furniture and unique details. Moreover, our farm holidays has got two new apartments, which are placed in the near outbuilding. Both apartments have got two double rooms with their own bathroom. So, they are perfect both for small groups and family units.
All rooms and apartments have got any comfort: private services, fridge-bar, satellite TV and air conditioning.
Moreover, the farm holidays has got services for disabled. There is a small restaurant provided with the most mode fittings and fixtures reserved exclusively to our guests, where they can taste typical Tuscany dishes made with the best products of Val di Chiana and with the products of our farm which mainly produces vegetables, tomatoes, melons, asparaguses, cabbages etc.
