LA SCUOLA Holiday Home is a characteristic old schoolhouse, recently renovated and tastefully fitted out in complete harmony with the beautiful surrounding countryside. Situated in a peaceful and panoramic location, immersed in the green hills of the Parco delle Cerbaie and in the Padule di Fucecchio (humid area unique in Italy’s centre north, where even storks come to nest). It boasts it’s own large private park. The home offers its guests a beautiful private swimming pool, situated in our own characteristic olive grove, with sun terrace and well equipped barbeque.We have apartments for couples, families or groups wanting to share a Tuscany experience. All the apartments have been carefully furnished according to the Tuscan traditions, each with fully equipped kitchen, independent heating. Private parking.The structure is located in the heart of Tuscany, with the art cities of Pisa, Lucca, Siena, Firenze within easy reach and many lesser know treasures still to be explored nearby.In Fucecchio and the immediate surroundings there are typical restaurants, pizzerie, wineries, characteristic shops, shopping centres, sports grounds (tennis, golf, horse-back riding facilities). LA SCUOLA Holiday Homes is open all year round to offer you a relaxing stay in close and confortable contact with the Tuscan countryside. Come for the breathtaking landscapes, the masterpieces from Giotto, Masaccio, Brunelleschi, Donatello, Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, the rows of slender cypress trees, vineyards and olive groves, the great medieval cities, the dozens of quiet hill-towns or lazily lay in the stunning swimming pool.

Who we are

We are Tiziana and Walter Fierli Our father Furio fell in love with this property in Tuscany in the 90s. Refurbishing 2 buildings that had no running water, electricity nor heating has not been an easy task. Our family has been working for ages making fine Italian shoes and we would have never believed that having guests would become a so demanding (and equally beautiful!) activity. I've become a professional tour leader to have a deeper knowledge of Tuscany!

We are not allowed to provide any food or beverage, but we will be happy to give you all the possible information of what's going on around us, such as food festivals and exibitions, and provide with some maps of towns (like Florence and Lucca). We will also very happy to get further information should you be interested in something in particular if you let us know.Swimming pool is usually available from May to September. Garden may be shared with other guests of the property, but it is large enough for everybody. English-speaking owner is on hand to answer any questions, a mobile phone number will be given so that you can text (money saved) for questions or ring for emergencies. The owner lives nearby, so don't worry!
