The apartments are the result of a careful renovation of the hamlet following authentic Tuscan rural style. All the apartments, which are fully independent, have all mod cons and are made up of a living room, fully equipped kitchen and one or more bedrooms and bathrooms, depending on the type. Each of the apartments also comes with a private outdoor area where guests can eat alfresco and enjoy the unforgettable sunsets.
Ripostena has fantastic amenities including an infinity pool overlooking the valley, 5 hectares (12 acres) of colorful and carefully maintained gardens and green areas, a picnic area, a children’s playground, a recreation room with ping pong and table football and an unforgettable panoramic terrace with stunning views of the Tuscan countryside, including the town of San Gimignano and the Chianti region.
The Montagnola Senese is incredibly rich in history, nature and landscape. It is listed in the “Nature 2000 Network” as a site of community interest. The area is rich in woods of holm-oak and chestnut, and is inhabited by animals such as roe deer, fallow deer, foxes, hedgehogs, squirrels and numerous species of migratory birds you might come across during a walk. Furthermore, the area is home to monasteries and evocative churches you can discover when walking, for example, along the ancient Via Francigena, that cuts across the northe part of the area. If cities such as Florence, Siena and tiny San Gimignano need no introduction given the international fame of their artistic and cultural heritage, the area round Ripostena is home to a series of smaller centres of great artistic worth. Locations like Monteriggioni, Volterra, Casole d’Elsa or the medieval abbey of San Galgano are ideal places for those who love the peace and tranquillity of smaller towns.
