Roccadia is a farm surrounded by nature, situated in a magnificent panoramic position from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Gulf of Catania and Mount Etna. The temperate climate in winter and ventilated in the summer allows the cultivation of citrus fruits which produce handmade preserves and liqueurs that you can enjoy at the company. The farm Roccadia was donated in 1070 by Count Roger de Hauteville to the Cistercian monks who turned it into a convent. Today, it is preserved at the feud, a copy of their context, the "Madonna of Roccadia " (also called "Madonna of the Pomegranate "), the original of this work is instead kept in the church of Roccadia in Carlisle, in Syracuse area. Over time, the estate has been the subject of a work of restructuring and adjustment that have transformed the structure in a local farmhouse of great charm that offers its guests, twenty standard rooms and comfort, located in different areas of the company. Among the farms in Sicily, the estate of Roccadia is well known for the quality of services offered, but, above all, the chance to taste genuine local food and stay in contact with farm animals (horses, pigs, cows, goats , sheep ...).
