Here, between sky, sea, and land, Mediterranean colors blend into a unique harmony: the golden yellow of wheat, the bright red of poppies, the deep green of vineyards, the pink of flamingos, and the azure blue of the lagoons and dazzling white beaches framed by sandstone formations.

Located in the heart of the Sinis Peninsula, Agriturismo Sa Ruda is the ideal starting point to reach, within minutes, the spectacular beaches of Is Aruttas, Mari Ermi, Maimoni, San Giovanni, Torre Grande, and Funtana Meiga. The Sinis sea is a thriving ecosystem, home to algae, sponges, crustaceans, fish, sea turtles, and even cetaceans.

The area also boasts a rich historical and archaeological heritage, featuring sites such as the Phoenician city of Tharros, Othoca, Cornus, Nuragic towers, the Spanish Tower, Torre Vecchia, the Hypogeum of San Salvatore, the Church of San Giovanni, and the Marongiu Museum. Not to be forgotten are the extraordinary Monte Prama excavations, which unearthed the ancient statues of the Giants of Mont'e Prama. About 9 km off the coast lies Mal di Ventre Island, where granite rocks emerge from emerald-colored waters, creating a stunning natural spectacle.

Agriturismo Sa Ruda is part of the homonymous agricultural estate, specializing in the cultivation of the prized Sinis spiny artichokes, cereals, and olives. Among the finest olive varieties grown are Semidana, Bosana, and Pizz’e Carroga, from which an exceptional extra virgin olive oil is produced, used in cooking, for preserving olives in brine, and in various preparations.
