The Antares farmhouse is located in the Carleo area, in the locality of San Foca, only 2km from the crystal clear sea and white beaches.
The surrounding area offers the opportunity to visit, also by bicycle, an area of ​​significant historical and naturalistic interest.
Antares was bo from the union of two great passions: the passion for hospitality and passion for the territory. Hence the idea of ​​renovating a farm to give life to a farmhouse surrounded by four hectares of Salento countryside in a landscape that offers centuries-old olive groves, warm welcome and only 2km the crystalline sea of ​​Salento. The farm includes 10 rooms, each with its own private entrance TV and air conditioning. The thick walls of tufa that make up the structure isolate from the heat and cold even on the most torrid days. The wrought iron beds and the furniture in poor art combine to create a welcoming and familiar environment for a stay in full comfort and relaxation. There are also two rooms suitable for welcoming guests with walking difficulties. There is also a dining room, where you can taste typical specialties of Salento, and a room for small and large ceremonies. An equipped garden also allows guests to enjoy the scents and colors of the earth in complete tranquility and relaxation.
The agricultural branch of the company is composed of a thousand olive trees, mainly of the ogliarola salentina cultivar, with ages ranging between 30 and 300 years from which it produces an excellent virgin and extra virgin organic oil.

Description rooms

The rooms, all very similar, are located partly on the first floor (without elevator) and partly on the ground floor. They have all been modernized in 2017, with a fresher, youthful decor that is attentive to guests' needs. The rooms on the ground floor have a private outdoor area where you can enjoy the tranquility and peace of the olive trees and the Salento countryside.

Our restaurant is a simple and familiar environment, with a few tables to ensure guests relax and enjoy the meal in peace. All our dishes belong to the Salento tradition, reproduced with passion and respect for the most authentic recipes. The ingredients of the dishes are of own production and have a taste to be enjoyed.

Breakfast

Antares breakfast is an Italian breakfast served buffet style. All desserts are prepared by us and served hot to guests. We accept special requests as long as they are communicated at the time of booking.
