'Blade of Moon ' or blade as a valley and moon as an element, tightly connected to the earth, to its cycles of seeding, harvesting and life, where man takes its part as a being belonging to the whole. It is a farm of the 18th century inhabited by Coloni and Mezzadri, (Farmers and Share-Croppers). Today totally restructured after three years of work, with techniques of bio-architecture and feng-shui in the total respect of the place and its history. It is deep in 190 hectares of natural landscape, olive-groves, cherry orchards, almond groves and vineyards, all biologically cultivated and certified AIAB-ICEA. The guest-rooms are the old residence of the farmers; today they are spacious and bright. Each room has a fireplace, that looks on to the farmyard and are provided with warm water and heating, thanks to 48 solar panels; that are dated back to the 1800 's. The beds are made with heart-wood of pine or olive-tree or brass-made, with natural latex mattress, unbleached cotton sheets and towels, olive-oil soaps; each detail has been meticulously studied to let the energy move on to permit the guests to feel the ancient savours. There 's a large library hall that invites reading and relaxation. Wile on the veranda, which looks on to an infinite landscape, guests can have breakfast with the typical products of Lama di Luna: jams and cakes, 'bruschette ', yogurts, cheeses and fruits. In the morning there is the possibility to visit towns such as Trani, Andria, Minervino and so on. Romanesque Cathedrals and Castel del Monte, which is a castle of the time of Frederic the 1st of Barbarossa., parks and natural places (park of the high Murgia, and Saline of Santa Margherita di Savoia). For those who like nature, there is the possibility to take a walk by foot or with a mountain bike, including some lessons about the biological agricultural techniques or about the history of the ancient farmers that make it possible to fully understand and experience the essence of Lama di Luna. The agricultural hub is made up of stalls, storage and farm implements rooms and is located at the centre of the farm. Around this there is a private and agritouristic space designed for my personal living, along with 11 guest rooms and common areas, a restaurant with panoramic veranda and large swimming pool looking out to an infinite view.
