The facility is composed of a restored ancient cottage divided into 4 independent flats, each separate front door, one of them in compliance with disabled people needs. Each flat has got one or two bedrooms, bath, shower, independent kitchen, a fridge and a television set, independent heating. There is a private car park and a laundry-ironing room. The “scentella” is open all the year. Weekly or weekend rent. The price includes one change of sheets and bathroom linen. Pets are allowed but after making arrangements wih the owner. The facility is situated in 7 hectars countryside with 5. 000 cherry trees, walnuts, oaks, olive trees, vineyards, lavender and rosemary. Outside the cottage there is a porch, a small amphitheatre surrounded by trees and a lot of green. The grass is uncultivated to facilitate edible spontaneous herbs. A portion of grass around the cottage is left in order to settle the “ garden of simple people” to study, identify and use officinals. The facility is particularly suitable for a quiet holiday in the countryside, where children can play in a safe, confortable and natural environment. The scentella is just in a few minutes walk from petritoli, a medieval villane which was founded by farfensi monks. It is only 15 km. Far from the sea (15 minutes’ drive). Sibillini mountains , the so called “the blue mountains” are less than 40 km far. Not far from scentella you can visit ancient artistic capital cities as fermo (15 km far) and ascoli piceno (35 km far). The surrounding area, crossed by the river aso, is sprinkled with old medieval villages on the top of many hills. The most common material used is the brick. However you can find sport facilities, riding schools, small lakes for fishing. You can also enjoy swimming pools in nearby facilities associated with the scentella. You can also do jogging and cycling among orchards and gardens. It is possible to visit high quality farms, taste and buy local products.
