Selva Capuzza is a holding of approximately 50 hectares consisting of agricultural land, mainly cultivated with vines, but also arable land, truffel grounds and olives. On the farm there is the farm house Cascina Capuzza restaurant, the Colli a Lago Wine Cellar and the farm holiday home Borgo San Donino, separating the 3 are 870 steps between the 2 furthest points (the farm house and the holiday homes). A 10 minute walk, through meadows, vineyards, truffle grounds with their oaks, hobeam and hazel, olives, takes you from Cascina Capuzza to Borgo San Donino over the Colli a Lago hills. The estate, situated 4 km south of Lake Garda, is on the hills and is situated on the edge of the 2 main Doc areas of the Brescia side of Lake Garda: Garda Classico, San Martino della Battaglia and in the heart of Lugana. The vines and olives are cultivated following eco-guidelines.
For the apartments, custom-made furnishings have been carefully handcrafted in accordance with bio-building principles. Natural materials predominate, including wood treated exclusively with natural waxes or non-toxic water-based components, as well as hand-worked stone and iron. The two-bedroom units: Soglio and Noce have been created on the ground floor in the section adjoining the old hay barn of the courtyard. Olmo, Quercia and Nocciolo are located on the first floor in what was originally the actual hay barn. Carpino, Salice, Alloro and Ginepro are situated in the building adjacent to the Borgo, which was originally the agricultural equipment storage. Carpino and Salice are on the ground floor, while Alloro and Ginepro are on the first floor. The one-bedroom units: Podere is on the ground floor in the section adjoining the old hay barn. Ulivo is on the first floor, in the hay barn.
