Description Meridiana
La Meridiana goes way back and was originally set up in 1800 when it was famous under the name of the Fattoria Conversi.
Originally the farm was an agricultural business and then in 1951 it also became a cattle breeding farm. In 1993, thanks to the high levels of hygiene achieved, the farm began to produce top quality milk.
Since 2011, milk production has stopped and the farm reverted to its original business of agriculture.
In 2003 the La Meridiana Agritourism was founded and is the fruit of a restructuring project of a building which, since 1800, was used as stables and for grain and which for years had not been used and had become derelict.
Its name comes from a splendid Travertine sun dial (meridiana) on the façade that in times gone by measured out the working hours so that the labourers could look up to see when their working day would finish.
