Description I Castagni

"I Castagni" is a farm house dating back to the early 1800. It has been fully remodelled preserving the characteristics of a farm residence of the nothe Lazio region. Here it is possible to enjoy a vacation in an incontaminated natural setting, in elegant and comfortable apartments, with chestnut beam cealings, antique furniture, in total privacy and relax.

Surroundings (Capranica)

Tuscia, so it is called this area in the Province of Viterbo, is rich in natural, artistic and cultural elements of great importance. It offers an "alternative" tourism, away from the masses to discover an area of great beauty. Just a few Kms from Capranica arises the ancient town of Sutri with one of the few examples of Etrucan Amphiteatre and Mitreo. Just a little further the evocative lake Vico offers nice restaurants and the possibility to get involved in water sports. Do not miss the opportunity to visit Palazzo Farnese (XV e XVI) by Vignola in the town of Caprarola. About half an hour away you can find the medival city of Viterbo with its magnificent Palazzo dei Papi. Going further north you will be able to admire the Parco dei Mostri of Bomarzo, only one of its kind in Italy. Anather valuable destination is Tuscania with its many churches and a beautiful borgo. All these locations are easily reachable, the furthest one in 1 hour. Culturally the area is very active.
