Located in the county of Viterbo, less than 3 miles from the village of Bolsena, this farm holiday place called “Antica Cassia” derives its name from the old roman “Cassia Vetus” path and in fact it is situated at km. 108,150 on the state road cassia in the “Arlena” resort area, on the shores of the Bolsena lake. The farmhouse is an 1850 traditional building, recently redecorated and refurbished within the tradition of italian style, and is formed by 5 apartments, all independent and with separate access. Close to it, you will find a lovely area which has been designed for kids’ playing and adults’ relax. Only a few yards from the farmhouse you can reach the lake beach, where the clear water inspires to take baths and enjoy seaside life. The beach opposite – partially in the shade - is equipped with deck-chairs and comfortable chaise longues, the ideal place to enjoy the view of this wide volcanic lake, adorned with two gracious islands and populated by a variety of fish. Close to the beach you will have a convenient wood hut where you can change and a barbecue equipped area, to enjoy picnics just in front of the lake itself. We do not accept animals.

The farmhouse is composed of 5 apartments, each one with independent access; each apartment has a wide living-room with TV, a single/double davenport and a kitchen area fully equipped, one double bedroom and bath with shower.When requested, it s easy to add a child bed or a single bed.All the furniture is new and the places have been recently redecorated, within the original style and maintaining the comfort of the tradition.One of the apartments is equipped to welcome disabled people.

Not to mention the natural beauty, historical city of Bolsena the ancient Etruscan-Roman town of "Volsinii ", the basilica of Santa Cristina and naturalistic-archaeological park of Turona. At the museum of Lake Bolsena you can see the remains of volcanic events that led to the formation of the lake and numerous archaeological finds from the Etruscan city Volsinii and Gran Carro.
