Lodole Country House is a lovingly restored, 17C country cottage with warm, cosy rooms, a spacious lounge with an open fireplace, raftered ceilings, original stone walls and floor and all the charm of traditional hospitality. Beautifully located on high ground inside the boundaries of the Molino del Pero Golf Club, the house is approximately 25 Km from Bologna, 70 Km from Florence, and just 10 km from the Rioveggio exit on the A1 motorway.
A few years ago Alice and Daniele fell in love with this place and bought what was at the time little more than a ruin. They then renovated and transformed it into an informal yet exclusive Country House with a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere and a friendly welcome offering top quality service.
In line with the splendid tradition of real country holidays (“agriturismo”) in Emilia Romagna and Tuscany, the Lodole Country House is private and comfortable.
The rooms are all immaculately furnished in traditional style. Great care has been taken over details and each room has its own colour, décor, and name.
The layout of the rooms is designed to reflect different moments and elements in the day, hence the names, Dawn, Sun, Sky, Dusk, Star, Moon and the Dépandance.
So, according to the season and vacancies, guests can choose the room they find best suits their mood in terms of name, decor , colour and position.

From the 1rs of October until the 31th of March guests may access to the Wellness Area: Sauna, Turkish Bath with Chrome Therapy, Hydro massage and relaxation area including tisanes and aromas.
On request it is also possible to book the following beauty treatments: Shiatsu treatment, Reflexology foot, the metamorphosis treatment (prenatal therapy), relaxing massage and muscle stretching.

Swimming Pool and Golf.
This fascinating outdoor area, including a pool and solarium, surrounded by greenery, is the ideal place to relax for hours on end, while enjoying the splendid panorama of the Tusco-Emilian Apennines. Lodole Country House is located in the grounds of the Molino del Pero Golf Club, deep in the heart of the splendid Bolognese Apennines. The Bologna Molino del Pero Golf Club offers a technical 18-hole course, par 70 course that stretches for over 5,450 metres at 300 MASL and overlooked by Lodole Country House at the third hole.

Breakfast Lodole Country House is something you will never forget! Every morning in the breakfast room a rich buffet is laid out offering cakes made specially by Alice, pastries and biscuits, fresh bread, jam, butter, honey, yoghurt, cereals, fresh fruit salad, local cheeses and salamis, fruit juice, milk, coffee, tea and cappuccinos. Decked with carefully selected, fine quality products, the breakfast buffet table is the jewel in the crown of the Lodole Bologna B&B.

Surroundings (Monzuno)

In addition to its fantastic open air swimming pool and solarium buried in the luscious greenery of the Bologna Apennines, guests can also enjoy golf at the Molino del Pero Golf Club , horseriding at nearby stables, mountain bike rides (with bikes provided by the Lodole Country House) and endless enchanting nature treks and trails.
There are also numerous places of interest to visit, like the old water mills in the Savena Valley, the Etruscan museums and archaeological sites at Monte Bibele and Marzabotto, and local farms in which to sample and purchase local produce. Bologna, Florence and Venice are also within easy reach, as well as other important centres of artistic heritage, such as Ferrara, Ravenna, Mantua, Verona, Siena, Pisa and Lucca.
Alice is also more than happy to give you detailed instructions on how to get to the various activities, which are all nearby or within easy reach.
