The bedrooms are or in the main foresteria or in the monks ' abodes.
In the main foresteria, the bigger building, where in the past monks gived hospitality to travellers, the bedrooms are fascinating with original iron-beds and 8th century furnishings.
The monks ' abodes are the ancient cells, newly restored: each cell is like a cottage or little dependence and is composed by two double bedrooms each with bathroom: "L 'Immacolata " composed by San Michele bedroom and Sant 'Olimpia bedroom and "L 'Annunciata " composed by San Cesare bedroom and the fresco bedroom.
The bedrooms are charming and have a valuable mode advantage "the heating ".
In the main Foresteria, off the one long corridor, you can also find:
- a junior suite: the Contessa suite, a charming living room with fireplace and a very nice bedroom with bathroom en suite;
- a family suite suitable for 4-5 persons, with two bedrooms and a large bathroom (bath): there is first a very large double bedroom ( king size) and a third bed, then a little corridor and on the left the second double room (twins beds) and on the right the bathroom;
- the Green 's bedroom- the Lady 's bedroom
- the yellow bedroom
At your disposal, for one week self-catering accommodation, the all monks 'cell "Annunciata ". Ideal solution for four people, with two bedrooms, one double and one twins, each with bathroom en suite, with a useful kitchenette.
For dolce far niente lovers, they could stop on the park, on the shadows of centennial oak trees or simply take a look around at the many wonderful amenities of the monastery . . . and relax on the incredible stone terrace overlooking the Bay of Naples.
The first day after arrival: 5.00 p.m. guided tour through the Monastery and at the Villa Giusso 's farm.
On Tuesday and Thursday (or others days on demand): 10.30 a.m. guided tour to Villa Giusso 's farm and to the " spontaneous wild herbs " and the "little forgotten fruits " gardens.
On Saturday evening: pizza preparation!
