The Villa Maria Farmhouse, set in the splendid frame of the Amalfi Coast with its typical lemon terraces, begins its activity in July 2003. It is located on a hill from where dominating is the suggestive view of Minori: an old and well-known sea and touristic resort since Roman times. Testimonial of this are the ruins of the ancient "Villa " called infact "Villa Romana " which goes back to the I century B.C.
Altough the farm has opened recently, the idea of a farmhouse comes many years ago thanks to the far-sightedness of the owner Vincenzo and to his mother Maria. It is also thanks to the interest of an article written by Philippa Davenport published in 1992 on "Country Living " magazine which emphasizes the beauty of the place, the quality of the products and Vincenzo 's love for the land.
Villa Maria, in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday offering warm hospitality and an enchanting scenery. It is set in a green valley among gardens in flower and the sight which gets lost in the turquoise shades of the sea.
Our rooms, 6 double rooms with the possibility of a triple and a quadruple, for a total of 15 beds, each dedicated to the name of a flower, are furnished in a comfortable country style, and are dotated with private services, jacuzzi tub, hair-dryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, minibar and a safe-deposit box.
Furthermore, each room has an indipendent terrace from which the wonderful view can be admired, and where it is easy to dive into the silence of nature under a pergola of grapevines and lemon trees.

I stayed there 8-12 october 2015. I felt like home to be honest. Very nice people, good food, spectacular from to the see and village down the valley. The only "downside" is the steps the 1st day: it is hard to get up the hill but well worth the effort! The 3rs day you are already used to these steps you'll find anywhere on the costiera anyway.
