The Garden of Vigliano is a peasant house , the walls of which oozes a feeling of harmony and serenity during the day , in fact , it is not difficult to see Peppino , a true master in the art of terracotta nativity scene and tuff , and is intent on shaping shepherds , things seem plausible to people in the flesh . There are few guest rooms ( located inside the large building that once functioned as a watchtower ), but this is an advantage because you can get more in relationship with the family and the surrounding environment. The Garden is not far from town known throughout the world for their beauty as Positano, Amalfi and Sorrento , definitely worth a visit . Even within the coast you can make interesting excursions : in fact , not far from Vigliano , is Villa Rossi with the church dedicated to Our Lady of Charity painted by Guido Reni, who lived between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries , and also known to be the place where the English Admiral Hudson Lowe, after the battle of Capri , surrendered to Joachim Murat , King of Naples from 1808 to 1815 .
THE GARDEN VIGLIANO
A lemon garden cultivated with the traditional chestnut pergolas, the whole family working to offer the earth's products and authentic tastes, panoramic terrace with cozy rooms with air conditioning and wi-fi area, we offer guests a dive in the quiet contact With nature.
Located on via'e mieze , the middle way , along the Sorrento - Sorrento, covered until the nineteenth century by visitors in search of feelings , the Garden today, thanks to the exclusivity of the place and the atmosphere especially , gives emotions equal to those of a time. After having crossed the strait and along the avenue under the perfumed lemon pergola , guests are warmly welcomed by Joseph Nunziata ( Peppino to his friends) who , with his wife Ida and sons Louis and Valentina , is dedicated to the meticulous care of the garden and the garden, to the cultivation of lemons and the preparation of typical dishes of Mediterranean cuisine. Most of the genuine dishes that make up the menu are cooked in a wood oven , just like in the past. And as in the past Ida and her children make the dough by hand and , once a week , preparing the delicious bread , crafted by hand and baked in a wood oven .
