Falode: breeding, gastronomy, holiday farm
At Cooperativa Falode we breed Lacaune sheep, Italian brown and Marchigiana cattle, Saanen goats, boars, and pigs. We produce several types of cheese and cured meat, to be tasted at our restaurant or in the shadow of the beech trees in our picnic area. If you are looking for accommodation, you can stay at our rooms, apartments, or in the camping area. We offer guests the opportunity to visit the farm, go horse trekking or quad biking, attend workshops, and use the sports field.

Summits, woods and prairies in the Matese area
La Falode is situated 1,000 m a.s.l. in the karst basin of Lake Matese, at the foot of Mt. Gallinola, in the heart of Matese Regional Park. Built on the border between the beech woods and the lakeshore prairie, it is an ideal starting point to reach the summits of Mt. Gallinola (1,923 m) and Mt. Miletto (2,050 m); to go mountain biking around the lake and on the mountain trails; to explore the woods and valleys on horseback.

Typical Falode: cheese, meat and sausages
The velvety taste of Caciocavallo scamosciato cheese, a juicy char-grilled lamb, a platter of delicious rolled bacon, and all the other culinary products at Falode are rooted in the Matese shepherding tradition. Besides tasting them at our restaurant or in the picnic area, you can take home the Falode products by purchasing them at our selling point at the farm, or at our retailers'.

Recommended period
La Falode is open all year round, every day, except on 24th-25th-26th December. We have many visitors in August, at Easter time and on New Year's eve. If you are looking for peace and quiet, we recommend you visit us during the cool spring or the colourful autumn.

	Agriturismo conosciuto da qualche anno, visitato sia nel periodo invernale che primaverile ed estivo. Sempre pronto alle esigenze degli ospiti. Accogliente, personale gentile. Passeggiata a cavallo con il grande Vincenzo. Forse si potrebbe essere più presenti o meglio indicare come visitare i vari reparti con gli animali, visto che, giustamente, ci sono avvisi di non entrare senza guida, ma non si dice all’arrivo come e quando poterli visitare. VI INVITO A SOGGIORNARVI CI VORRETE RITORNARE!!! (Excellent)

	Situato in un posto incantevole,personale molto gentile,cibo buono ideale per chi ama la cucina dell'entroterra campano.Note un pò stonate,la pulizia della camera molto superficiale,il risciò che abbiamo noleggiato era vecchio e mezzo rotto.Comunque assolutamente da visitare. (Excellent)
