In the deep south, in one of the most beautiful regions of our country, lies the Farmhouse Torre Casciani. Surrounded by the nature of Salento but close to the beautiful Ionian Coast.
A little more than half an hour from the capital city, we find this wonderful farm, Farmhouse Il Bagolaro, which is described to us with familiarity and love by Ms. Valentina.
Nestled in the Agro-Erice, Farmhouse Don Carlo is an excellent facility, wonderfully managed and organized, connecting you easily with the hinterland and the coast west and north of Sicily. Mr. Leonardo tells us about his business with pride in the following interview.
What origins has the structure of your house?
Very old! These lands were part of the great estates of the Medici family of Florence and had been organized in the form of farms administered by “Scrittoio delle Regie Possessioni”, that is the state apparatus which looked after the interests of the Princely House. Then in 1600 some of these lands were sold by Frederick II.
Surrounded by 2,000 acres of forest, located in a wonderful landscape and archaeological area, we find the Farmhouse Vecchia Masseria Charme & Relax. This facility, owned by the Golino family, is presented with care by Mr Philipe, an excellent cook by profession.
Walking through the lands of Raffaello and the hills in the hinterland of the nearby Fano, stands on one of the peaks Farmhouse Monte Giove. A beautiful property of the 19th century, rebuilt and run by the family of Mr. Lorenzo, the manager who tells us with passion and dedication to his choice and its origins.
Speaking about Farmhouse Andreini with Mrs. Monica, a really friendly and helpful lady, I immediately see the passion and authenticity, typical of those who love their land and give it a unique value. Tradition and commitment come together to make the experience at this facility, surrounded by nature, really nice.
