The new rules concerning the regulation of inspectionsof farmhouses in Sardinia date back to a few days ago. The regional government has approved a phased introduction of controls on the details of farmhouse activities: in fact, the procedures will not begin before October 15, 2013.

The official aim of this maneuver is to help managers of agricultural enterprises to organize every detail on the management of hygiene and food policies, but also in the optimization of the greatest number of human resources in a central emergency during the summer months, namely forest fires.

Among the changes suggested by the regional government of Sardinia there is the possibility for rural tourism operators to participate in optional training courses, organized to make available the possibility of getting awards.
