Regional food specialty: Strudel – SudtirolIngredients:
– 125 g of butter
– 125 g of icing sugar
– Grated lemon zest
– 1 glass of milk
– 1 egg
– 250 g of flour
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder
– 1 pinch of salt
– 600 g apples
– 50 g sugar

– 40 g of raisins
– 20 g of pine nuts
– Cinnamon

Preparation:
– Mix in a bowl the butter with sugar, lemon zest and sugar.
– Add the egg, milk, flour and the baking powder and mix.
– Peel the apples, cut them into slices and mix with sugar, raisins, pine nuts, cinnamon and lemon zest.
– Preheat the oven (180 degrees).
– Roll out the dough on a floured surface and place on a greased baking sheet.
– Bake for 35 minutes.
