The great exhibitions of the Royal Palace are always an event of great importance, and the last in order of time, which has been open for a short time, is dedicated to the production of Amedeo Modigliani.

Some of the paintings of the great Italian painter are exposed to photograph effectively the Paris period. Modigliani lived many years in the French capital, the city where he died. In Paris he met several key people in the art world, including the patron Jonas Netter.

The exhibition shows paintings that are part of his private collection, which for the very first time in Italy. The years in which Modigliani lived in Paris were a time when the art of painting gave timeless masterpieces, like the women of the painter from Livorno and the paintings of Marc Chagall, all works that can be seen in this show very interesting.
