Gardening is an extremely popular hobby, and there are numerous events throughout Italy for fans of plants and flowers, eager to find new ideas to improve their skills and knowledge. The coldest days of the year are over, and now we present some of the events dedicated to gardening that will take place in the next months.

For those who are in LIGURIA, on March 10th there will be Sanremo in Fiore, a fair that has taken place every year since 1904, and celebrating one of the most important natural features of the Riviera.

Moving to MILAN, a key event for gardening enthusiasts is the yearly Saint Angel’s Fair, which takes place on Easter Monday (April 1 this year), and that involves the entire area adjacent to the beautiful church, close to Brera, with streets filled with stalls full of fruit trees and particular varieties of flowers.

Remaining close to the “Madonnina”, another unmissable event is Orticola, which will be held from May 10th to May 12th in the beautiful setting of the Montanelli Gardens , one of the most beautiful parks in the city of Milan.

Further south, in SALERNO it is possible to visit the Exhibition of Minerva, which will take place from April 1oth to  April 12th at Villa Comunale, and that has been for 15 years a place of great importance for the sharing of issues related to the public green, as well as for the sale of rare plants.
