On Sunday, October 14th, the first edition of “3×2 Free Night in the Farmhouses” came to a close, the initiative promoted by Agriturismi.it, the Italian portal of farmhouses. The one-month promotion, valid from September 14th to October 14th 2012, gave guests the chance to spend a free night in a farmhouse of their choice among the 75 participating facilities from all the Italian regions, headed by Tuscany and Umbria.

The initiative was warmly welcomed on the web too, where the news reached 100 publications, among websites, magazines and newspapers. Not only an opportunity to spend a long holiday weekend at a competitive price (3 nights at a farmhouse from 40 Euros), but this offer also stood out as a privileged occasion to get close to the traditions of the rural world, to find wholesome tastes, to chill out and play sports in the heart of nature.

Besides offering a night for free, in fact, the initiative allowed guests to freely enjoy one of the many activities available at the facilities. From cooking courses to tastings, from horse trekking to natural excursions, from grape harvest to spa sessions: having a first-hand experience of more authenthic life rhythms has never been so easy! Agriturismi.it is already working on the second edition, which will take place in 2013.
