Valle d’Aosta is a region rich in traditions and beauty. Famous for its mountains that every year attract millions of fans of winter sports, it is a land where nature reigns supreme: breathtaking views are in fact visible in every part of the region, and it is always amazing to stop and look at the profile of a mountain, or at the majesty of a forest, with the tops of the trees caressed by the sun.
A small outpost of charm and culture, with its capital Aosta, a small but beautiful town, it is the smallest region of the peninsula, and is a paradise to be discovered.

Specialties
The main dishes, closely linked to the isolation of the area, are the cutlet of veal, trout with butter, cheese and ham omelette.
Wines: The wines of the region include Arnad-Montjovet, Donnat and Fumin.

Events
For lovers of local handicraft products, we report for July 22nd Fiera dell’Artigianato Valdostano (Rhemes), a review of the most important works of  the region’s master craftsmen, now at its 25th edition.
A few days later, precisely on July 28th, fans of antique objects can go to Mercante in Valle, a little market full of curious things which opens its doors for the whole day in Aosta.
