Molise is one of the smallest regions of Italy, but it doesn’t lack beauty and traditions: discovering this small strip of land is to venture into landscapes of various kinds, ranging from the seaside to the mountains.

Don’t miss the capital Campobasso, where you can admire architectural beauties like the Monforte Castle and the charming streets of the oldest part of town called “Il Borgo” (the village).

Among the traditional dishes of this region we find the typical tripe, the “scapece” anchovy and cavatelli with pork. A regional cuisine deeply rooted in the traditions of the territory, and linked to the perpetual communion between man and earth.

Molise is the ideal home for those who would like to have fun at summer fairs and festivals. On July 15th the Festival of Quail in Galardi is not to be missed, while for the month of August always in terms of good food and fun, we must mention the Boar and Beer Festival, taking place in Salcito from the 15th to the 18th of the month.
