Calabria is a region where it is possible to experience an amazing variety of landscapes: from the mountains to the beautiful shores of Sila, in Calabria you can really find everything, and discover a land that is still very attached to traditions, folklore, and, above all, careful to promote its territory.
Among the interesting places to visit we can list the Pollino National Park, the town of Catanzaro and its extraordinary views of the seaside resort of Soverato, in addition to the islands, among which Capo Rizzuto and Cirella, real pearls where to spend relaxing holidays, by discovering nature and the friendliness of their inhabitants.
Specialties

The gastronomic universe of Calabria is deeply tied to religious traditions: every occurrence has in fact its particular dish. Cooking has been profoundly influenced by the Greeks and the Arabs, and has among its main recipes macaroni, sausages, among them the famous ‘nduja, and stockfish declined in many variations.
Wines: The most important Calabrian wines are Bivongi and red Pollino.
Events

Those who are going to take a trip to Calabria in the coming weeks will be in full season of festivals. We report two appointments, the festival of Fresella (Diamante, province of Cosenza), which will take place on July 29th, and the festival of Sujaca (a particular bean), which instead takes place in Drapia, in the province of Vibo Valentia, on August 6th.
