68.077 hectares to explore in the heart of Puglia, and one of the widest natural reserves in Italy: established in 2004, the Park presents an evocative sequence of rocky ridges, karst pits, natural and farmed grasslands, oak and conifer woods.

The landscape shows the thousands-year-old presence of man, who together with the climate shaped the look and layout of one of the oddest places in the Mediterranean area. Different walking or mountain-bike itineraries allow us to discover a unique natural heritage, together with the traces of an ancient civilization and archaeological remains: caves, traces of the Norman-Svevian domination, and even some dinosaur footprints.

For those who would like a 360-degree immersion into this natural paradise, and into the authenticity of the flavours of the earth, the farm house Amicizia, just a few hundreds meters from the Park, offers its guests a rural and genuine atmosphere, which opens onto wonderful natural paths.

Summer is round the corner and in order to leave behind the rhythms of city life, the farm house has created “Agriscuola”, green weeks for kids who want to find out more of horse riding and to spend a pleasant holiday in the countryside. The nature-friendly approach of the farm house also concerns stock-breeding and cultivation, that are entirely organic and with no chemical residuals, while farming techniques are respectful of the environment.
