Details:
Ogliastra is one of the uncontaminated areas of Sardinia, out of the most popular touristic circuits. The origin of its name derives from Olivastri of which the territory is rich, even though others attribute its origin to the huge monolith overlooking the sea on the coast of Baunei called Agugliastra (or Pedra Longa). In this area you can still find uncontaminated nature and gulfs accessible only by boat or on foot as Cala Luna, Cala Sisine Mariolu and Cala Goloritzé.
This area not only offers beautiful landscapes, but it also has a rich archeological and historical heritage like the Nuraghi, the Domus de Janas, the Holy Sources, the Tombs of the Giants and Menhir.
It is possible to enjoy the beauties of Ogliastra on foot, by bicycle, by car or by jeep along the trekking paths that wind in this area.
For those who would like to spend some days relaxing in this area it is possible to stay at the farm house “Sa Perda Arrubia”, located about 3 km from Cardedu, immersed in the green Mediterranean vegetation, from which you can easily reach the sea and the archaeological sites such as Domus de Janas, nuraghi and the Pozzo Sacro, an old church of Madonna del Buon Cammino.
Take advantage of the offers proposed by the farm house for Easter holidays: from the 5th until the 8th April you can stay for 3 nights in double room with breakfast at 75 euros per person instead of 90!
Why do you not spend a weekend among the perfumes and colors of a uncontaminated environment like Ogliastra?
