Here is the recipe for a traditional, delicious cake: the apple strudel!

Ingredients:
– 300g white flour
– 50g sugar
– 1 egg
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 pinch of salt
–  2kg of apples
–  raisins and pine nuts
–   butter
–   milk as needed

Preparation:
– Mix 300 grams of white flour with 50 grams of sugar, one egg, one tablespoon of olive oil, a pinch of salt and milk enough to get a rather soft dough.
– Let this mixture settle for half an hour, then roll it with a rolling pin as thin as possible, taking care it doesn’t break.
– At this point peel about two kilos of apples, cut them into thin slices and cover completely the dough with them. Put on apples the desired quantity of raisins and pine nuts. Sprinkle with sugar (if you want also with bread crumbs) and end up with a few knobs of butter.
– Brush the surface of the strudel with milk or egg yolk with sugar and place in hot oven for 40/50 minutes.
