250 g of flour, 1 packet of yeast, 100 g sugar, 1 pinch of salt, 1 egg, 200 ml of whole milk, 100 g of butter, or 80 ml ​​of olive oil (light taste), 80 g of chocolate drops, butter and flour for the moulds.

 

 

Preparation:
– Sift the flour into a bowl with the yeast. Add the sugar, a pinch of salt and mix.
– In a second bowl, break the egg and beat them with the tines of a fork. Add the milk, stirring with a whisk, then add the warmed butter (or olive oil), stirring constantly.
– Make a hole in the center of the flour and put in the liquid mixture. Stir with whisk to blend the two ingredients. The dough should be soft and shiny.
– Combine the chocolate chips and stir with a wooden spoon.
– If you use aluminum moulds, grease them thoroughly, then sprinkle with a little flour and blow away the surplus. For baking cups or silicone moulds, they do not need any preparation.
– Arrange the moulds on a baking tray and fill with the dough to 1/3 of their height. With the doses given, you can usually prepare 12 muffins.
– Bake in preheated oven at 200°C for 20 minutes.
– After the indicated time turn the oven off, open the lid and wait 5 minutes before turning out.
– To eat cold.
