What we suggest this week is a typical farm in the heart of Tuscia …

… Area of origin of the mysterious Etruscan civilization, on the border between Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany.
It is located in the municipality of Castiglione in Teverina, a medieval village 10 km from Orvieto.
The farm is run by a sommelier, not merely to create a structure but wanted to make a real farm and environmental education.
Here you can participate in sensory laboratories (wine and cheese tastings, matching techniques of food and wine); take courses in preparation for farm products (juices, jams, liqueurs, preserves, cheeses, pasta and bread) and education courses environment with special reference to medicinal and aromatic herbs.

The company consists of 7 hectares planted with olive trees, whose ancient plants produce a high-quality olive oil, and vineyards. Walking the property, bounded in part by a lush forest, you can see beautiful caves of tufa (presumably of Etruscan period) where you can relive those who were the living conditions of local farmers until after the war.

Experience to satisfy the spirit and body!
