Details:
The Easter holidays have already passed but spring reserves large and small events you can participate. You should remind this weekend there is the National Day of Liberation, April 25, and it will be a Sunday. So all over Italy, the city centers will reviving shows and events but in particular we would like to tell a stake in a small town in Lazio. A Bomarzo is a race that ran since 1600 on the occasion of the patron saint of the city, Bishop Anselm. The districts are 5 and travel is provided with their jockeys and horses exactly on April 25 but will not be the only opportunity to see this exciting race. Just over the weekend (23-24-25 April) there is also the Feast of the biscuit. It was formerly called “Bread of S. Anselmo “because it was a sweet bread that Bishop St. Anselmo distributed to the poor and pilgrims to the holy city of Rome. This is not just a cookie-shaped cake, but also it weighs about 1 kilo!
In our opinion there is no excuse not to visit this beautiful village!
