Welcome to MASSERIA CAVALIERI, flavor and hospitality in the region of Abruzzo’s charming, rustic tradition.
Our family-run business lies at the foot of the Majella massif, 440m above sea level, near Filetto (Chieti province). We would be delighted to take you in for a pleasant stay in the serene environment of Abruzzo’s pristine hills.
As in the typical local tradition, we also raise sheep, goats, pigs and other farmyard animals with full respect for their health and well being.
Only recently we have decided to dedicate ourselves to the production of the fruits of our land, offering a selection that includes organic wines and extra virgin olive oil, preserves, specialties pickled or preserved in oil, tomato puree, meats and sheep and goat cheeses.
Special attention is paid to the preparation of products made with spicy red pepper, in accordance with the traditions of the Accademia Abruzzese del Peperoncino, of which our farm is an associate.
The apartments, recently remodelled, are comfortably furnished in a rustic style with independent entry and private parking, offering a private and relaxing stay.
The lodgings include a bedroom, complete bathroom and kitchen, and ample spaces including colonnade, garden and terrace, accommodating any pets you may have as well.
Of the many activities that the immediate surroundings have to offer, we recommend serene walks and mountain bike trips on the rural paths, fishing in our private lake, some of the most renowned bike tours of GRAN FONDO, bird watching, and off-road excursions, not to mention participating in the activities of the farm with a guided tour.
Conveniently located just a few kilometers from the sea as well as from the highest peaks of the Apennines, the MASSERIA CAVALIERI is an ideal point of departure for excursions to the main historic centers of the Chieti province or the natural beauty of the Parco Nazionale della Majella and the inviting Adriatic riviera.
